This Giving Tuesday, the Gogebic Range Health Foundation (GRHF) invites you to help build a healthier, stronger Gogebic Range! Your gift supports programs that improve the well-being of families, youth, and community members across Iron County, WI and Gogebic County, MI.

✨ Every donation is doubled up to $35,000 thanks to our generous board and anonymous donor match fund — doubling the impact of your gift!

Why Your Support Matters

Our community is strong, but many families face hidden challenges that impact health, opportunity, and quality of life. GRHF works to advance community health and establish the Gogebic Range as a fun, healthy place to live. Your donation helps us fund initiatives that:

• Support Youth Engagement & Mental Health: Resources and programs to help young people thrive.
• Promote Economic Empowerment: Opportunities that help families achieve financial stability and independence.
• Strengthen Community Food Systems: Access to healthy food through pantries, co-ops, and community gardens.
• Build Connected Communities: Inclusive programs that foster accessibility and social connection for everyone.

Urgent Need: Food Security

This year, with the pause of SNAP benefits in November, many local families are struggling to access enough food.

• Nationally, about 42 million Americans rely on SNAP.
• In Michigan, around 1.4 million residents rely on SNAP each month, and in Wisconsin, approximately 900,000 residents rely on SNAP.

Last year, in partnership with IncredibleBank, GRHF distributed $9,000 to local food pantries and food-security programs. This year, your Giving Tuesday gift will help ensure that families have the food and resources they need — while still supporting all of GRHF’s important health initiatives.
